A theater troupe DEDICATED to the character actors…the fat actors!
Created in 2017, THE HEAVYWEIGHTS, a theater troupe DEDICATED to the character actor. When will Audrey be a big girl? Why can't The Phantom be 250lbs? We are at a time of inclusivity, but big people seem to be left out of the conversation. This is a movement. A PLUS SIZED movement. We aim to show it doesn't matter what you look like to take the final bow!

We recently performed in Denver, Colorado at the DENVER CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS - The Garner Galleria Theatre. This production was Directed by Chloe Treat and Music Directed by Joshua Gregg Fried. Starring Polanco Jones, Jr., Max Wilcox, and Jeremy Geller.
